What is APA Format?

APA (American Psychological Association) format is the standard used for citing sources  in psychology, education as well as social sciences.

What are the hours?

Current Pandemic Library Hours:

Monday-Friday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Are we allowed to borrow books?

Yes, except for Reserve books and large or popular Reference titles.

What is the fee for returning checked out books/DVDs late?

Late fees are assessed at 10 cents per day.

Will the library have my current textbooks?

Only if the instructor has special requested them and put them on Reserve.

Can we have group study sessions?

Library is not able to accommodate study groups. Please see Matt to reserve a study room or use the student lounge.

Can I drink in the library?

Beverages are permitted and should be kept on the floor or otherwise away from computers and library materials.

Can I eat in the library?

Snack foods are OK. If it has grease, sauce or it crunches loudly please enjoy in the student lounge first and then come visit us.

Can I bring my friends or family?

Only Swedish Institute students, graduates, Faculty, and staff are allowed in the Swedish Library. See Matt for further details.
